Two new grounds for ex-officio decommitment in the CBE

The ex officio removal of a company from the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (CBE) can have very far-reaching consequences and is, of course, avoidable. In this newsletter, we give you an overview of the possible grounds for the ex officio removal as well as its consequences. The core provision is Art. III.42, §1 WER, which has been extended since 21 December 2023 to include two additional cases in which the management department of the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises can proceed with ex officio deletion.
