The rules on professional competence in Belgium: the end of discrimination with respect to the European countries but not between the Regions?

The programme law of 10 February 1998 promoting self-employed enterprise has defined, for each Region, what entrepreneurial skills SMEs must have. The royal decree of 29 January 2007 on professional competence for the exercise of self-employed activities in construction and electrical engineering, as well as general contracting, has specified the professional competence (among other things) that is required for the exercise of shell construction activities.
