News on indexation in Brussels

As of 14 October 2023, the limitation of the indexation of rent for homes, as we have known it to date, has ceased to exist.

The Brussels order of 13 October 2022 (Belgian Official Gazette, 14 October 2022) limiting to 50% the indexation of rent for homes with an ‘EPC E’, and prohibiting indexation for homes with an ‘EPC F and G’ is no longer in force. As a reminder: This order only lasted one year.
