On 23 August 2019, Aertssen Group took over the activities of AltéAd Devriendt from Zedelgem.

AltéAd Devriendt is a well-known name in the field of exceptional transport of wind turbines and machines, an activity in which Aertssen has also been specialising for years. By taking over AltéAd Devriendt, Aertssen Group strengthens its market position. AltéAd Devriendt is strategically located near the port of Zeebrugge. Through this acquisition, Aertssen Group creates an extra hub in Belgium, which has an excellent connection with the port area of Ghent and Antwerp.
