On 5 April 2019 Aertssen took over the activities of the ADM Team Heavy Weight transport company from Westerlo.

ADM Team Heavy Weight has existed for over 20 years and specializes in transporting loads with exceptional dimensions and weights. The company is strategically located along the Albert Canal in Westerlo and is contiguous to the heavy roll-on-roll-off quay, where goods can be transported trimodally (by road, water and rail). The acquisition strengthens Aertssen's position in the exceptional transport sector.

In addition, Aertssen aims to make use of the strategic location.
