Increase in European disclosure thresholds for public contracts published from 1 January 2024

From 1 January 2024, new increased European publication thresholds will apply to public procurement and concessions. As usual, they will apply for a period of two years, until 31 December 2025. As soon as the estimated value of a contract or concession reaches the applicable threshold, the contracting authority will have to publish the contract or concession in question in the European Official Journal. In addition, the European thresholds are also important for the applicability of many provisions in the Belgian public procurement regulations.
