Dave Mertens and Joost Bats discuss the reform of the insolvency law in issue 453 (2017) of the journal Pacioli.

The authors focus particularly on the broadening of the scope of application of the new insolvency legislation, the introduction of an entirely electronic procedure, the main changes with regard to judicial reorganisation and bankruptcy and the new rules on directors´ and officers´ liability.
