What is ScreenTeam?

ScreenTeam advises heads of businesses who are thinking about selling off their company (for example, because no suitable successors have presented themselves).

ScreenTeam efficiently analyses these companies from the legal, financial and tax perspectives. The result is a bundled report from these different perspectives with both an analysis of the points to which attention must be paid and clear recommendations for dealing with them.

The goal is to quickly provide the management with sharp and independent insights about the company (in each case from the legal, financial and tax perspectives). The consequence of this brief, in-depth exercise is that the company, after implementing the recommendations, has been put in a condition where it is “ready to sell”. This leads to a more efficient transfer process where the points that were identified and in the meantime have been remedied no longer have to be addressed. This prevents endless discussions between the various advisors during the actual takeover process and reduces the guarantees and securities that are demanded from the seller. This exercise might have an upward effect on the company’s valuation and pricing.

The analysis is conducted independently and implemented in collaboration with the advisors who are already on hand (e.g. accountant, lawyer, etc.).
