Permanent measure with demolition and reconstruction

The government has decided to make permanent the reduced 6% VAT rate in the event of demolition and reconstruction of homes. As from 1st January 2024, the favourable measure will be scrapped for the purchase of homes from property developers, and the separate regime for the central cities will cease to exist.
