In our newsflash of 22 May 2014, we already communicated that the traditional Joint Committee no. 218 for white-collar employees was going to be abolished and replaced by Joint Committee no. 200 as soon as the members of the latter Joint Committee were appointed. In addition, non-profit organisations are being housed in JC 335 and JC 337, whose scope of application was expanded.

The resolution appointing the members of JC 200 was published on 25 March 2015 in the Belgian Official Journal and has entered into effect on 1 April 2015. As of this date, the employers and employees who earlier belonged to JC 218 will therefore be transferred to JC 200.

In principle this changes nothing, since all existing CLA´s are also being transferred to JC 200, so that the pay and working conditions of the white-collar employees will remain exactly the same.
