Obituary

It is with great sadness that we must inform you of the death of our firm´s founder, Mr. Luc Schoups, lawyer with the Bar of Antwerp.   Luc Schoups founded the firm and remained the driving force behind it for decades. Within the Antwerp Bar he was also known to many simply as "the Patron". In recent years as well he remained devoted to the firm, to his colleagues and to his clients. This manifested itself not only in an unremitting involvement in the firm´s functioning and cases, but also and above all in the many personal ties that he forged and maintained over the years, both within the firm and the bar and outside them.     He was involved in many associations and organisations, something he combined with his law work and family life with unparalleled energy, passion, sense of duty and care.   We are grateful to him for these many years of work and dedication, and we will miss him very much.    The condolences and support of the entire firm go out to the wife of Luc Schoups, his children amongst whom our colleague Marco Schoups, their partners and the grandchildren, about whom he often spoke with great pride and affection, as well as his other loved ones.    Enclosed is the mourning card.
