New practice group within Schoups: Arbitration, Mediation & ADR

Schoups attaches great importance to taking a custom-tailored approach to every (potential) dispute, and the formation of the new “Arbitration, Mediation & ADR” practice group underlines this vision.

The practice group brings together specialised know-how in the field of arbitration, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. This knowledge and these skills are put to good use autonomously as well as in support of the other practice groups active within the firm. Before, during and after a dispute, Schoups always keeps an eye out for the best solution for its clients and assists in making the right choices. If a dispute cannot be avoided in this way, it can in any event be handled under optimal conditions.

Members of the practice group sit on arbitral panels, defend clients in arbitration proceedings and publish about arbitration and dispute resolution.

The practice group is headed by Marco Schoups. Together with the other members, Chantal De Smedt-Quintelier, Geert De Buyzer and Maarten Somers, this group can bring to bear extensive experience in the area of dispute resolution, arbitration and mediation.
