Client seminar Schoups 20.03.2014

On Thursday, March 20th, Schoups organised a client seminar entitled: "The unified status and the exception for the construction sector".   Sara Cockx from our Employment Law department gave a brief practice-oriented explanation about the new legislation on the unified status for blue-collar and white-collar workers.   The following topics, amongst others, were addressed:   1. The new notice periods 2. The exceptions for the construction sector 3. The dismissal justification (CLA no. 109) 4. The abolition of the trial period 5. The abolition of the waiting day 6. The new rules concerning outplacement and job application leave    The seminar was held in the Antwerp offices and there were 50 participants.
