The Construction Confederation Antwerp held a Masterclass on Public Procurement Contracts on 29 February 2016.

Marco Schoups and Kris Lemmens spoke about the contractor´s liability in relation to other construction actors and third parties.

The following topics (amongst others) were being addressed during this session: (1) fault-based and no-fault liability in the general contractor - third party relationship ; (2) the quality claim in the general contractor – buyer relationship ; (3) the importance of a transparent contract and opposable findings in the general contractor - suppliers and subcontractors relationship ; (4) joint and several liability and the right of recourse in the general contractor – architect relationship.
