Together with her Brussels colleague Catherine Preumont from the Verhaegen-Walravens law firm, Sara Cockx will be speaking on 25 February 2016 at a lunchtime talk of the Belgian Construction Law Association.
In this lunch seminar, she will discuss a number of social aspects in the sub-contracting of works. The following topics will be addressed:
- The prohibited provision of personnel / la mise à disposition illicite de personnel
- Posting foreign employees abroad / le détachement de travailleurs étrangers
- Inspection obligations on the worksite / obligations de contrôle sur le chantier
- Electronic presence registration / l´enregistrement électronique des présences
- Joint and several liability for salary debts / la responsabilité solidaire pour les dettes salariales
The presentations will be given partly in French and partly in Dutch.
