24 November 2015 – Schoups organised a breakfast seminar on “Current topics in private construction law: part 2”

On 24 November 2015, the Private Construction Law practice group held a breakfast seminar where attorneys Siegfried Busscher and Maarten Somers discussed the following topics:

1. Points of special interest regarding the Housing Construction Act (the Breyne Act),
2. Obligations of result,
3. Changes in legislation and other current issues concerning the direct claim of subcontractors,
4. Legislative initiatives relating to the obligatory insurance for contractors,
5. Damages clauses and collection of damages due to delays,
6. Actions of recourse between contractor(s), architects, suppliers, etc.

This breakfast seminar was held in Den Brandt Castle.
