On Tuesday, 15 March 2016, Randstad Construct organised together with our office a breakfast seminar on sub-contracting in public procurement contracts in Genk.
Kris Lemmens discussed the choice of the subcontractor for public procurement contracts, the subcontracting agreement and the subcontractor’s liability in case of construction defects.
Sara Cockx then explained the specific labour-law obligations for public procurement contracts, as well as the prohibition on making personnel available to work with foreign subcontractors.
