1 July 2016 – Maarten Somers and Els Op de Beeck named Salary Partners of Schoups

We are pleased to announce that Maarten Somers and Els Op de Beeck have been named Salary Partners of Schoups, effective 1 July 2016.

Maarten Somers began his career as a lawyer in 2006 and joined Schoups in 2012. He is active in real estate and construction law, both in public and private-law matters and public procurement contracts & PPP, as well as advising and representing clients both before courts and arbitral colleges and extrajudicially. Maarten’s particular specialties are building disputes and real-estate operations.

Els Op de Beeck joined Schoups in 2007. She focuses primarily on public- and private-law aspects of construction and real estate law.

The close link between construction law on the one hand and insurance and liability law on the other means that she is also active in the latter practice group.
