Emily Defreyne

Emily Defreyne is Junior Associate at Schoups.

She received her law degree from Ghent University in 2018. A year later, she received her French-language degree in Management from UCLouvain, specifically from Louvain School of Management. In 2020, she obtained a master's degree in Notarial Law from the VUB.

She started her career as a full-time assistant at Ghent University in the Department of Metajuridica, Private and Business Law.

Emily started as a Junior Associate at Schoups in 2021 and works mainly in the field of Environmental Law. She also works in the fields of Private Construction Law and Real Estate & Project Development.

She is a member of the Dutch Brussels Bar.
