New indexation of the indemnity for legal proceedings: reduction as of 1st march 2023

In our newsletter of November 2022 you could read that the indemnity for legal proceedings had been indexed for the third time in just a year and a half.[1] This indemnity for legal proceedings is a fixed compensation for the costs and fees of the lawyer of the successful party (art. 1022 of the Judicial Code), which is part of the costs that must be borne by the unsuccessful party (art. 1017 of the Judicial Code). As of 1st March 2023, this indemnity for legal proceedings has been indexed again.
