 After a thorough renovation, the eight-storey building will house the offices of Schoups as well as a meeting place with eating and drinking facilities on the ground floor, a large green open space between the church and the office building and a seminar room.  The client is aiming to simultaneously build a connection with the neighbourhood and to create a quality workplace. ono architecture, Universal Design Studio, Philip Aguirre y Otegui and Ludovic Devriendt will carry out the project. The garden designed by Ludovic Devriendt will bring greenery to the city. Philip Aguirre y Otegui is responsible for the artistic integration in the building. The collaboration with the adjacent Heilige Geestkerk is unique in the project. The roof of the church will generate green electricity for the office building, already during the works. The roofs will also collect water and distribute it to the new neighbor. The neighborhood will be able to use the office parking lot with parking spaces for cars and bicycles. This will be a unique project about connection and engagement with the neighborhood, about ecology, and about sustainability and innovation in the city.
