Last-minute changes and entry into force of the Code dealing with property law

A year and a half after the publication of Book 3 of the new Civil Code, the part dealing with property law came into force on 1 September 2021. That completes this part of the modernisation of civil law, though there still seems to be some debate as to the concrete interpretation of a number of novelties, as was evidenced by the (not always nuanced) media attention last week.
