Establishment of the Special Committee on Construction within the Federal Mediation Commission

That is a missed opportunity. Mediation, both judicial and extrajudicial, is a good alternative to the classic forms of dispute resolution, such as expertise, court and arbitration. It is often more efficient and cheaper and gives the parties themselves the opportunity to forge the solution. They are in the cockpit. Studies show that a mediated solution leads to greater satisfaction among the parties.

It is a sign on the wall that the Federal Mediation Commission (FMC) has set up the Special Committee on Construction (SCC). Undoubtedly, this committee will further investigate and promote mediation in construction conflicts.
